PRIVACY POLICY
INTRODUCTION
Hook Turn Games PTY LTD ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Star Fighters mobile application (the "Service").
This page explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you use our Service, and the choices you have regarding that data.
Use of the Service is subject to this Privacy Policy.
WHO WE ARE
• Controller: Hook Turn Games PTY LTD
• Registered address: 4/105 Marine Parade
• Privacy contact: hechtdan@gmail.com
INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
We collect the following information to provide and improve our Service.
Personal Data
We do not require your name or email address to play Star Fighters. If you contact us for support, we receive whatever information you choose to send us.
Device Identifier and Game Account
When you first open the game, a game account is created for you automatically using a unique identifier generated by your device. We use this identifier to save your progress, in-game currency, unlocked items and settings, and to restore them when you return. This account is stored with our service provider Microsoft PlayFab (see "Service Providers and Affiliates" below).
Advertising Identifier
Star Fighters shows ads provided by Unity Ads. To show and measure ads, Unity Ads collects your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS), along with ad interaction data such as ads viewed and clicked, and basic device information such as device type, operating system, and IP address. On iOS we ask for your permission before accessing the advertising identifier.
Usage Data
We and our service providers receive technical data when you use the Service, such as your device's IP address, device identifiers, gameplay progress, and diagnostic data such as technical error logs.
Location
We do not collect your location.
USE OF DATA
Hook Turn Games PTY LTD uses the collected data to:
• Provide and maintain the Service, including saving your progress and unlocked items
• Show advertisements, including rewarded ads that give you in-game benefits
• Notify you about changes to our Service
• Provide customer care and support
• Monitor how the Service is used and improve it
• Detect, prevent and address technical issues and fraud
RETENTION
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. Game account data is kept for as long as your account is active, plus a defined period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it.
DELETE OR UPDATE YOUR DATA
You can ask us to delete the data we hold about you, including your game account and its progress and unlocked items, by emailing hechtdan@gmail.com. Please include your device type so we can find your account. We will confirm your request and delete your data within 30 days, subject to legal exceptions (for example, if we must keep records to comply with law). Deleting your account means your progress and unlocked items cannot be restored.
To limit the data held by Unity Ads, you can also reset your advertising ID in your device settings or contact Unity (see the link below).
YOUR CHOICES
• Control tracking through your device settings (reset or limit the advertising ID, or decline the tracking prompt on iOS).
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting hechtdan@gmail.com.
• California residents and others with similar rights: contact us at hechtdan@gmail.com to opt out of the sharing of your data for advertising, or use your device's advertising settings.
INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA or UK. Where such transfers occur, we use appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission Decision (EU) 2021/914) and/or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum, and we carry out transfer risk assessments with supplementary measures where appropriate.
Our hosting and service providers may be located in various jurisdictions. We ensure that all data processors maintain adequate data protection standards.
